Brazil clearly has/had a problem. As another poster has said, he and parlour would drink to serious levels every 10am slot they finished. Pub by 10:05. Parlour works out and is ripped for his age, but the damage will catch up with him. Brazil literally just used to drink. All day.
He’s lucky to have the financial means to have got this second chance. Now he just has to take it.

If I was a pub landlord I would not serve him any alcoholic drink again.
