Never quite got this reasoning for Talkshite is they need people to call into make their money,how much can this make them ? They only take probably an average of 2/3 calls per hour when I have listened in.

It's all the fuckers that ring in, and don't get on. They still have to pay.

I suspect it shows that they have an interactive audience of a certain size which in turn reinforces the amounts they are able to charge for advertising and thus to exist and prosper. If nobody phones in they can't claim to have a "reach" to would be advertisers

Durham would be a very good addition to 5Live's Sports team. It's just a pity he's not prepared to stretch himself and see if he could make it with the Beeb.
