Talksport

I was listening while out walking the dog this morning and they had a sports journalist on talking about the Delph situation , he was saying perhaps Delph heard that we were closing in on our main transfer targets and had a double think about the amount of playing time he would get so that's why he decided to stay which I thought was plausible ?

Objective opinion on City that can't be right? It's typical City when players are turning us down because they are not good enough to play for us. We've dodged a bullet here Delph's position in the squad would be better suited for a youth player that can benefit being around the likes of Silva,Aguero and Kompany. Could you imagine if Denayer makes the grade this year? The media would be quiet about our youth policy then.

Good point and I hope they do look at the youth players to fill any of the gaps not only would it be good for the CFA but would give the younger lads some encouragement and they could see a career path if there good enough

I suspect the media angle would be more on the lines of "they're attracting the best young players because of the money they're offering."

It will take several more years before the media gives us a fair crack. We have broken up the cartel and it doesn't suit.

Georgie Bingham, look at Micah Richards, he was a great England player but what happened to him he went rubbish when he moved to Man City, embarrassing silence then Stuart Robson pipes up ''he was already at Man City'' what the actual fuck!!

Just said she has had a lot of abuse from city fans she has clarified her comments lol

She should stick to her favourite sport of rugby
She is bloody useless, always gets facts wrong and like all the others her scripts are written beforehand by others and not researched, then when she comments off her own back you get what happened today. UNREAL TWATS ALL OF THEM

These so called players whose careers have 'stalled' are supposedly Richards and SInclair - both of whom are at Villa (where it's deemed 'fantastic' for Delph to be). The other two are Johnson who got more England caps at City than anywhere else and won silverware, and Rodwell who was known to be injury prone at Everton and proclaimed as such by many Everton fans. He was injury prone with us, then moved to Sunderland where he's been injury prone there too.
Barry, Milner, Hart, Bellamy all did incredibly well with City. Johnson did ok, Richards became injury prone and was usurped by one of the best right backs of the last 5 years, Sinclair didn't work out, but hardly ruined his career, and Rodwell's still too wary of picking up injuries to ever give 100% physically (I don't question his commitment though).

It's just lazy journalism to perpetuate the 'graveyard for HG talent' myth

Gives women pundits a bad name. Clueless, well suited to talkspunk.

If she actually said that, then she should be sacked. Beyond incompetence.

I must give it a bit more of a listen. I love circuses and especially the clowns.
Brazil has got the full red nose on this morning with big yellow shoes
All the rag signings are magnificent, Sterling, well you can guess the rest, it's pathetic
I will give it John Cross from the Mirror though, he has tried to reign Brazil in a bit on the paper review

Stayed up late as not in work until Wednesday and yes all morning it is the two signings the rags have made over the weekend (the pig and the Southampton bloke) is a much better deal than Sterling....
Lots of comparisons with bench sitters Rodwell and Sinclair (from Brazil and the fucking Moose) but no mention of Saha / Nick Powell / Shaw....

Brazil was also talking with Graham ''Beaky'' Beacroft and it was suggested by Brazil that City may have signed a ''trouble maker''.
No mention of Daniel Sturridge being a trouble maker when leaving City for more money / better chances of winning a trophy.....
