Just the same as the live TV games. I used to work away a lot, and said this before a match to the other lads (can't remember the teams), to be told I was just a biased City fan (I am, but so what!).

After 3 minutes came the first reference, about a lad on one of the sides who had had a trial at Old Toilet when he was younger, followed 2 minutes later by another obscure fact about them, totally unrelated to the match. By the end of the game, there had been 6 such references, and I sat there with a smug expression. Even the token rag in the team (another armchair) had to agree with me.

So it's not just Talkshite, it's endemic within the media, and I suppose you've got to hand it to Dr. Goebbels and his team at OT for their expertise.

Think I read it on here, someone said that baconface told his propaganda unit to instruct all the editors and program makers to always use the full "Manchester United" when referring to the rags. Look at the MUEN website for example, City stories are by and large Man City, where as the full Manchester United is used in the majority of their pieces. And don't get me started on those fuckers wearing the Manchester coat of arms on their suit jackets...frauds.

Thought it was a bit of an odd thing to say myself as the last thing Pellers is is smug, must be what other fans perception of the man is yet my rag Son in Law thinks he's brilliant, twice the man of TT
 
The Boiled one simply doesn't hide his colours, 6:15 ish this am Murphy on praising Swansea, how well they did against his beloved, Boiled interrupted 'we mustn't forget Palace' & continues to talk about Chelsea's loss, credit to Murphy he interrupts & states 'but first I want to talk United'

Reminds me of sky sunday supplement where the journs were going deep on criticising him for saying he knew nothing about KDB afte rthe match on Saturday - 'well, he has to accept negative stories (like the Custis one), if he isn't going to be totally honest with the press' ! Er, not being honest, you mean like ever other football manager is from time to time? I would think a passing comment would be one too many, but to spend 5 minutes going on about it....
Anyway, maybe it was just Pellers being 'smug'.
