If we're being harsh, I thought the Blackburn 'keeper should have saved it once he got his hand to the ball. Tarnat's goal against Villa was better;

the goalkeeper should deffo have saved this goal, shocking misjudgment by sorenson
 
I don't think he took many free kicks after the Blackburn game, even though he scored I think Keegan didn't take kindly to him shooting from that distance.

I will always remember dropping my hotdog when Tarnat scored that one :)
 
Looking at some of the names on the teamsheet for that Villa game (Seaman, Sommeil, Tarnat, Macpointalot, SWP, Wanchope, Asulka, Barton etc etc) brings back some memories. Not all of them good ones!

Ah I remember that game well. Anelka had hit about 4 over the top in the first half and everybody was saying he wasn't going to score that day. Rocket from Tarnat!

my youngest son was City"s mascot that night, remember tellin KK he had an Irish mascot & him sayin we should be lucky then,got some great pics of the lad with him&the players
