In 40 years time when your skin is old and saggy, it will look awful. Don't bother.

When you get to old age you have better things to worry about than a saggy tattoo, like will i wake up in the morning lol

True but when you have the euphoria of defying the odds by waking up, it's tempered with "shit! I still have that tattoo".

Haha,i'm going to be doing a lot of worrying then

To those who say it'll look daft when your 70 or whatever, well, who really is gonna care about a tattoo when they're 70?

I've got a mate who's covered in them. Both arms, or sleeves as he calls it are completely filled. It's an image thing. Most of them mean nothing to him but he had to fill the space.

The tattoo (the trophy) doesn't appeal to me either though. I only have 1 tattoo but it means something more to me than football.

I wouldn't take any notice of anyone trying to disuade you though, if you want it, get it. It's your body.

I'd get something like the top left corner of the trophy rising through a blue hued cloud with the numbers 93:20 underneath a blue moon.

Would have to be a fucking good artist to do that though. My advice would be to ignore any comments concerning what it will look like when you're old or, how it will affect future employment. Load o bollocks in both instances unless you have a tattoo of an anchor on one cheek and your vanity as an OAP excludes pissing yourself and forgetting your grandchildrens names.

Wait until you see what you want or decide on something specific.

Rushing into it isn't a good idea, I've spent about £1,500 on tattooing and I reckon half of that would be something different or not done at all if I'd spent a bit more time thinking about it.
