How many times......Kompany is not a centre half, and has said many times he doesnt like playing there. Lescott played well today , why move him, Bridge was ok at left back for most of the game.

If toure is fit he will replace ned (not in my eyes he wouldn't) and although he changed the game tevez would still be benched for me as would robbie, with a bit of luck we could give robbie 25-30 mins of comfortable football in this match. however i feel hughes will revert to his 4-4-2 formation leaving out a CM and putting tevez back up top with ade. If he does do that i hope its barry who misses out, class player but he's clearly struggling a bit at the moment, and de-jong would enable ireland to get forward at every oppurtunity.

Think Toure and zab should both be dropped 1 for his injury and other cos he has been poor recently, same with brigde so Sylvinho to start if fit. BAZA is in need of a rest so Johnson to start! Swp and bellers to miss out and 1st start for weiss and hopfully robbie.

Dropping Tévez yesterday was like dropping Robinho, you cant do it. You never know when he's going to get a goal, make a killer pass or score a stunning free kick.

He doesnt score much for a forward but he creates most of our chances.
