Team for Scunthorpe

we have to go 4-3-3 as far as im concerned, we just not as fluid in a 4-4-2

I would also give Johnson a start too.

---------------------given

Richards---Kompany--------Lescott-----Sylvinho

------ireland--------johnson-----barry

-tevez------------adebayor----------bellamy

This but id play zabba instead of richards. Would be good to see sylvinho and kompany in the back 4, would be good to see how they would gel.

Yeah thought about Zab at right back but id imagine Scunny to be more physical and direct in their play that i thought Richards height may be more suited.

true but i think zabaleta gets more stuck in than richards. im not part of the richards out crew, i think he will come good eventually but i think for now zabba is the 1st choice.

i hope johnson plays too. i know people say hes not match fit but hes a pro footballer, i could run around for 90 mins.. De jong has been playin brilliantly but i think scunthorpe will try and completely cut out midfield so i'd like to play a defensive mid with a more attacking mid. They will just put 10 players in defence and try and catch us on the break but i think we have enough to keep them at bay without de jong

Given (He should play Taylor)

Zabaletta, Kompany, Lescott, Silvinho,

SWP, Ireland, NDJ, Garrido,

Tevez, RSC.

Bench. Given, Vidal, Jono (on after an hour if score right), Mee, Barry, Bellars, Ade

Richards should kick his heels in the stand till he sorts himself out.

I agree, in fact i dont think playing de jong at home is such a priority...apart from gams against the top 4.

i think if we played our formation and team we had at the start of the season we'd have won that game.
