Team For Tonight???

Ireland went past me towards carrington in his R8 at about 9.15 this morning, i think if he was still ill he would not have been allowed into Carrington, so he could be in contention

You could see the problem with this team on Wednesday. We had Weiss wide right and SWP in the middle but the shape was the same.

That team, with two out an out wingers, relies on crosses into the box to create chances. Tevez and Bellamy are not the players to get on the end of crosses. So I hope we don't play this. However, we may have little choice...

To be fair though SWP and Petrov don't need to just rely on crosses as they both have enough pace to get around the back and cut the ball back along the floor, I will agree though that with Adebayor or Santa Cruz it would be more effective but we don't have much choice for tonight.

Tevez and Bellamy are good enough to create space for themselves in and around the box without the need to cross the ball too often.

We're going to lose by a lot of goals! ... we're clueless at the moment. When things click, we play some really good stuff, and i'm optimistic, but when things don't, we really are a very, very poor team indeed.

i think Hughes is using a bit of kidology about RSC being on bench, if he is fit then start him.

I'd love to see this side more or less, but with Bellamy up front with Carlos and RSC in the middle (4-3-3) and Petrov on the left for Barry.

Yeah, that was probably our best performance of the season. ... but you must have missed our displays against Wigan and Bolton. p1ss poor to say the least.

On our day, we are as entertaining and as much of a threat as any one ... trouble is (and this is a common phrase used for the past 50 years by West Ham fans) we lack consistency!

didn't think RSC would be play much of a part but every media outlet i've heard today seems to think he'll be making his debut tonight, see SSN are saying johnson is fit for tonight as well! hope RSC does start we definately need a bigger man as the main guy up top. think our team will line up like this. . . . . .

I think its a really balanced team, just weather RSC will start (I have a felling he might)
