I had that on my wall as a kid - taken out of Shoot with the staples holes in the middle.

Got that pic large framed.Quality..and sky blue ....making History.

That was on my bedroom wall. Wish I still had it.

And it's probably why that kit with the white collar, cuff and maroon turnovers with white stripes is, to me and many others, quintessentially Manchester City.

Can't wait for the new photo. Might get one.

I have a mug with that photo on it. Don't remember buying it though, so not sure where it's from. Possibly a present ..... or nicked.

They did one with everyone at the start of the season, didn't they?

I hope we see one. I grew up in an era of team photos (Shoot and Match mags) and I remember one of Tony Book with the League and FA Cup which was a bit of a cheat but still a good pic.

1970 we had the league cup division 1 champions and the European cup winners cup

Look at George Heslop’s physique in that pic and compare it with a top modern central defender like Stones, Laporte or VVD. In relative terms, he was a lumbering pie eater.
