Swap Sylvinho for Bridge and you have the team for tomorrow.

I'd have Bridge in instead of Sylvinho, and Ireland in instead of SWP. Otherwise I think that's bang on.

Plus I'd probably have Ned and RSC on the bench too, seeing as we're allowed 7 subs now - hardly seems any point in making it harder for ourselves by just taking 5.

Good point on the subs, Sylvinho would defend better than Bridge, we know Johnson (if he plays) will bomb on!

Thats a fair comment mate. But if we actually played a 4-3-3 line-up as you suggest, with Barry on the left of the middle three and Bellers on the left of the front three (which I wholehertedly agree with), Bridge should have enough defensive support in front of him to limit Johnson's runs. Of course, if we stick to 4-4-2 with Barry in the middle and just Bellers on the left in front of Bridge, then Johnson would become more of a problem.

Tevez is in on name alone at the moment.

Subs: Taylor, Richards, Lescott, Johnson, Weiss, Santa Cruz, Tevez.

I don't think Joke Lescott should play after Burnley, and Tevez isn't good enough for me SWP although playing poorly has done more than Carlos this season imo(plus is quicker so will give Insua a hard time, plus Bellamy on the left would mean Johnson has to stay back to cover, De Jong on Gerrard, Barry and Ireland on Aquilani and Masch.)

This has to be the team!

Tevez has been poor recently and we played well with similar team at start of the year!

But what a bench:
taylor
richards
onouha(or kompany)
johnson
tevez
robinho
sant cruz

compared to this time last yr Arsenal (22/11/08):
Schmeichel
Ben Haim
Onuoha
Hamann
Elano
Sturridge
Evans

i would love a 433 formation thats tight in the midfield so we we have an option of going wide when we have the ball (to exploit the amount of pace and skill in our team) but when we dont have the ball the middle 3 get tight and sit deep, and the 2 attacking wingers track back to cover the flanks. so when we dont have the ball we will outman them in defencive midfield. and when we do have the ball we can get it up the pitch down the flanks (like i said our pace and skill will be very handy)

so like this when we have the ball

.....................given............................
zab.........toure.........lescott.........bridge
........................................................
.........ireland......barry......bellamy...........
.........................................................
...tevez..........adebayor............robinho...

and when we lose the ball the attacking wingers track back to left/right midfeild role role so the opposition cant exploit the wings and the midfeild 3 move to defencive midfeild role so we overpower the opponent's attack with the help from the defenders

(also we leave adebayor upfron incase of a counter-attack)
