Hi,

I've searched through the web without finding an answer, or a solution to my problem, so I figured I'd throw it out here to see if anyone of you has a fix for my problem.

Certain videos, such as the latest 60-sec highlights from Munich won't play (the same with the full hl's from the last game of last season against Chelsea over in the States). It doesn't matter which browser I use, nor if I have any add-ons activated or not. All I get is a black box, with the black time-line at the bottom going from 00:00 to 00:00.

It's annoying the hell out of me, so if anyone has an idea of what could be the cause please let me know.

I get the same. If you're outside UK as well that could be the explanation, rights and shit.

Oh I see... didn't realize that might be a problem. Also I have noticed a few videos on SS fails to show.

Used to get it last year, Could just be a broadband speed issue. Have you tried watching any other video's (flash not silverlight) on another site?

Have you tried using a UK proxy to see if its blocked because of your region?

Right click the below url and select Copy link location

I'm having the same issue! I tried using the UK proxy, but it doesn't seem to work... some videos work for me (ex: the Negredo interview after Munich) but others do not (the highlights package).

I'm on a pretty good line, averaging around 24mb/s down. Petty much all videos play as they should on my system, it's just a case of a very few which doesn't.

I have Swifty, with no luck. Most videos can be found on a google search anyway, but I don't like when unexplainable things piss me off and I can't fix it. Thanks anyway!

I noticed same problem when i wanted to watch the Amazulu highlights, and i emailed my problems to the club

I have been on vacation in Macedonia and i tried to watch the match highlights of the Mandela tour, versus Supersport and AmaZulu. But the timer is at 0:00 till 0:00 and it never started.

Now i am back home in Denmark but i am having the same problem ?

The Club do not have the rights to show content from the South Africa fixtures in the Denmark.

I guess this is the same with the Audi cup.
Anyway i told them it would be a great idea to maybe link to a new page telling you that they don't have the rights for your country instead of the player being stuck at 0.00

Have you tried the official Youtube channel ? I'm pretty sure they put every video up on there plus a few others that don't always make the O/S

I have mate. But no difference there... I seem to recall I couldn't even find a few of them on the YT channel though.

Some videos on SkySports which won't play on my PC, works well on my Iphone, oddly enough.

Apologies if i;m stating the obvious but did you try updating your flash player?

I have just moved to New Zealand and exactly the same thing here. All the videos containing interviews, inside city work fine but anything involving coverage such as Milan or munich highlights won't play - same as being described here?

Must be a rights issue.

Can anyone confirm if the league, cup etc games worked overseas last season because it would be a disaster if these also don't work come the new season....

Here's the odd thing. I use Firefox and I have an addon (MediaHint) which enables me to view the BBC iPlayer site (among others; ITV Player for example), which is only supposed to be available to UK residents. Yet when the addon is enabled, I can't watch any video on the OS. Disable the addon and voila; I can now watch the videos as normal. Odd.

Apologies if i;m stating the obvious but did you try updating your flash player?

I did everything: updated flash and video card drivers, even ended up doing a clean install of Win7. Nothing changed.
I think it's safe to say now, that's it's a regional thing.
