Boston United manager sacked today.
Coincidence...?
Coincidence...?
In fairness every time they play a decent team they get an hammerin so he should fit inLooks like they're getting Amorim
Or they've fallen in our trap of overpaying for shite we signal we want again.Apparently after our lad from sporting. Smart move as it puts pressure on pep a bit
TBF improving from 14th isn’t too hard. But I have thought and continue to think the problem is the players. You can’t threaten a guy you paid a bundle to with bench time as punishment for not giving his all if you’ve not a reasonable replacement unless you are willing to lose for awhile. And they can’t/arent. So they are absolutely stuck with this shower they have — old, slow, uncaring, undisciplined, petulant, not especially talented — every player, every position is some or all of these. They have become the very thing they claimed City were — a side of mercenaries. They won about five trophies under that shower, including beating us in.last years final. I think they may have been runners up to us twice in the premier league too. Do I think this squad will challenge for the title? No. Do I think an upgrade on Ten Hag can improve them? Yes. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
Take it you don't rate him thenIn fairness every time they play a decent team they get an hammerin so he should fit in
Funny thing is I bet always keep saying about the owner Jim Radcliffe or whatever he’s called and saying he will save the day but in reality he’s not the owner and the glaziers still call the shots .If you've got a rusty, old, beaten-up banger of a car outside, one with no MOT and no chance of getting one: bald tyres, no brakes and the windscreen has been replaced with polythene, putting a different driver behind the wheel isn't going to change anything.
Horseface is going to inherit exactly the same players as Ten-Bob, but he's not going to be given time to instill a different ethos into the changing room. So essentially it's the same manager but with a different name.
We all know they need a complete overhaul. Stripped to the bone and then start again. But that won't happen because they'll need money - and lots of it. This is the financial status they cultivated themselves. Money talks and all that.
The Glazers and 25%Jim want success NOW, immediately, not in 2030 or whatever.
The despot's 'special relationship' with the refereeing officials has long gone and the club now find themselves on a level playing field with the rest of us - something they have not experienced for several decades. Under the old regime they only had to turn up to get the three points: courtesy of Riley and his corrupt cronies they were, to all intents and purposes, guaranteed a win.
But the winds of change can blow bitterly cold, and extremely fierce when your foundations are not as solid as they should be. Because once that nasty, malignant demon has been exorcised from the swamp investigations will reveal what really took place under his governance, and if the rumours that have circulated for so many years about him turn out to be true the consequences for the club will be far reaching.
He's not great. People reference his record at Ajax. But let's be honest; the Dutch league isn't top tier.I actually don’t think tent peg is that bad a manager, it’s the shit club and shit egotistical players that are the problem.
