Was asked this morning by a couple of rags at work did I think utd should sack or keep him I said keep for at least 10 more years a non football lad here just started laughing, well they shouldn't of asked.

I can't decide if I want the other game to finish a draw and the rags finish a draw, so their hope is up all night and they still go out...

Or if I want one of the other teams to win so the rags can't go through anyway, and Bayern batter them. Then they'll be getting mullered with nothing to play for anyway, which is quite funny too.

Definitely want them to go out, as that means more of the pot for us. We earned slightly more in the season we lost to Chelsea in Porto than we did for winning it, as part of the financial distribution formula involves how we do compared to our fellow PL teams. So if the Pl teams play 40 CL games in total one season, and we play 13 of those (as we did last season) we get 13/40ths of that specific pot.

It also means we can laugh at the fact that one of the world's most expensive squads couldn't even get second place in a group with Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen.

How about it pisses down all night so the Scum Fans get soaked, both games goaless until very late, Scum get a late winner (a dodgy penalty obviously) and euphoria only to find that Copenhagen or Galatasary (who cares) also got a last gasp winner

If they finish bottom then I suspect he's toast. If they get into the Thursday Night Cup then he'll be OK as at least they should have a few games to rake in some ticket money.
