When a film pushes the boundaries of what you believe, then it's a good film. The jail scene where the terminator 'walks' through the metal gate. No Sci fi film was doing this sort of effects, it really was brilliant
Prefer the original. T2 comes across to me as a vehicle to show off the latest special effects of that time. A bit OTT if you like. It doesn't have the raw grittiness of the original.
