T1 is still the best...

Darker, Cleverer, I love the sound track and it's more intense. Pretty much the same reasons I prefer Alien to Aliens.

T2 is a nice film but not a patch on the first.

I'll also add the first Highlander was better than the rest but that wouldn't be hard! :P

It is for me too.watched the first 2 on blu-ray yesterday.got the 3rd and salvation but they're not in the same league.For those who say the effects are dated in T1,i'll take practical effects over cgi everyday of the week.

Agree, Salvation was a pleasant surprise.

At the time, T2 was like nothing we'd ever seen before. It was one of the last movies that the internet didn't ruin for me as I had no clue he was the good guy in this one. I watched it again recently and it just looked like a remake of T1 but with a lot better special effects. I will always enjoy watching it though.

T3 was awful but I actually enjoyed Salvation even though Bale is a terrible actor.

I hear T5 is ready to go and Arnie is going to be in it.
