Terrible defending

I'm not talking about on the pitch, I'm talking about the blind defence of certain players who are regularly letting us down this season.

Eg start a thread criticising Adebayor, who aside from a few goals has been a major disappointment this season, and all you get on this forum is:

FFS

do one rag

jog on

adebayor is world class

f off you prick

Etc etc


It is possible for city players to under perform and city fans have the right to criticise them, especially on supposedly open debate forums like this one

The problem is that we seem to have attracted a lot of fickle fans just lately. One bad game and suddenly SWP/Zab/Ade etc are worse than useless and should be booted out asap.

Adebayor's had some off games but has been brilliant on the whole.

Goals scored for games played must be decent.

His touch for a big man is exsquisite at times.

With what he's been through it's quality.

Don't be thinking that just cos someone has a negative thought a poster is right. If someone disagrees with someone then they are going to come back and should.

We who can see the reality of what's going on, where we have come from, where we are and where we intend to go have the right to make this happen to.

at last some decent debate. I agree with goal ratio and first touch, but for me if your main target man can't win headers despite being taller than most there's something wrong.

He is undoubtedly a top class player but I question his commitment to the cause at times, his suspensions this season cost us dearly and compare him to someone like bellamy who truly wants to win every ball and puts in 100% no matter what
