Looks like it needs a shit when it’s walking but if you’re looking for something to move your eggs in the kitchen, it looks spot on.
There is actually a reason for that. It’s called static balance walking. Essentially it needs to be sure that if somebody switched it off at any point mid-step then it wouldn’t just fall over. Some people subconsciously adopt this kind of walking when they have conditions like arthritis.
Our human walking is usually just a controlled type of falling so if we got switched off mid-movement we would fall over.

Boston Dynamics are working on some incredible robots. Don't look as sleek as these 'hi-fidelity' versions but some fine gymnastics and dexterity at play....unless, it's just CGI :)
