12.7 download and .8 upload so can someone enlighten me as what the fook it means

The download speed shows how many megabytes per second your connection can download. The higher the MBPS the faster websites will load and the faster you can download files.

Upload speed, is the opposite. for example if you're uploading a website, or sharing a file.
