Great win today - needed to bounce back quickly and we did so you have to commend Mancini and the players.

However, it was rather odd to see Mancini so subdued and Hart so pedantic in the post-match interviews on mcfc.co.uk..

Not looking to suggest that there are any major issue in the dressing room, just wondering what may have prompted such an odd post-match vibe? Was it something about the performance that brought his weirdness about. Or is it just me?

To begin with, i dont want Mourinho anywhere near the club. But i have this feeling that the reason Mancini is feeling down/subdued is because he knows he might be replaced in the summer. I want him to stay forever though.

Either that or he is always thinking about his dad

Or his bollocks were frozen off in that snow and cold today. And he was just happy to be inside and warm, for the time being. The match was won, he was ready to move on.

More a reflection of being guarded with the media I think. After all, whatever Mancini says, the media are dying to portray it as a Rafa or Keeganesque rant so that they can run the "City bottled" it story.

Probably the stupid guy who was asking the questions- where do we get em from?

Absolutely right. Mancini has been deliberately targeted by the media of late (just as an example that Talkshite cnut Des Kelly does a weekly column in the Fail, and on the 6th, 13th and 20th January that column was dedicated in its entirety to spouting poisonous filth about the City manager), and it was noticeable that City decided to wheel Platt out for a week or more at the height of it.

Is it any wonder that Mancini is a bit tetchy in the interviews, because I've never seen City been so scrutinise like we have been this season and as a lot of us have been saying that the so called uk media as a whole have rubbished us, said things that are complete pack of lies because they do not like the changing of the guard thats happening....................

I couldnt agree more. In recent weeks Mancini is being scrutinised on a daily basis. i dont think he has helped his cause in respect to the waving of the imaginary card incidents, although i do have every sympathy with him as for me lately we get nothing from the officials. After the defeat against Everton he shouldnt have told the press he had "under prepared". He should have got the lads on the training pitch and spelt out to the team he had got it wrong and they would work hard as a team to rectify what went wrong. Not just with the players but with the coaching staff aswell. What went wrong should have been said behind closed doors. Seige mentality!

His actions and words lately are giving the media the bullets to fire. The media would like nothing more than us and Mancini to bottle it. Lets not give them the satisfaction.

Thats so true "grimsby Blue", why hand the bullets to the media so that they then can shoot back at us, and also agree with you that Mancini should have done the talking about the fallout from Everton, at training the next day or so, and away from prying ears and eyes, this media certainly has a lot to answer for because of its grubbiness, bias attitudes ect, its all been said before, but yes City must now more than ever stick together and keep focussed on the prize....................
