This 70minutes could be gearing him up for a start. As it's only reserves also alot less intense.
It's also Wednesday and Saturday is a while away. Hardly unheard of. (Champions League weeks).
It's also longer than he's had in reserves before. He's had a 45, and a 60. Now a 70, plus a 30 v Chelsea and a 15/20 last weekend.
He's now surely due/ready for the 90 that Mancini stated a few weeks ago. And 90 I translate to mean either 90 minutes or start (and subsequently not subbed until at least 60mins).

anybody watch the game? Tevez looking fully fit yet? Not that it seems to have effected him in the past, played in the Fa Cup final and game against Stoke after that when he was fatter than he is now and played great in both.
