I think on this occasion he probably thought it was funny and would possibly garner him some favour with the City fans. His recent performances and efforts to get involved with the community I believe have been an attempt at making some ground back with the club. Mancini seems to be in support of him and never seems agitated by questions of his future. I thought it was admirable that he stayed in the background and followed the on pitch celebrations and understood his role in our success this season.

I really fail to see why it was so offensive. He didnt wish death on Fergie, he didnt attack Fergie's family, he didnt even make the sign.
