Remember when the Eto odds suddenly swung 1/7 to City overnight. It ended up being a red herring but I've noticed a pattern definitely. Significant movement on the odds usually means that a few hours later, you hear news about significant progress. Happened with Eto overnight (odds dropped in the morning, before Barca's confirmation of City's "stratospheric" offer. Happened with Owen too, where the odds fell about 24 hours before the signing was actually confirmed. SSN have noticed the movement in the Tevez odds, I see. They've just now mentioned it.

Basically the bookies don't want any more money on Tevez joining City but are leaving the books open to try and attract some suckers in to back him going to Chelski. 1/25 is almost unheard of. Pointless really. Just close the book and be done with it boys.

Also mate, imagine if Sky closed the books and 10 minutes later it was announced? There's the law to think of too - 1/25 has been put on the deter people from having a bet (£4 return for a bet of £100!!) without drawing attention to the fact they know anything.
