I know a few folks at a few regional papers, a few nationals, a freelancer or two and a radio station but I really can't be bothered to phone any of them on the chance that they know a junior journo who worked on Soccer AM once!

I will say that what Dan Scagnelli has said fits with quite a few things I have heard...namely that Tevez is on or was on a private jet laid on by City to get him back to the UK. It true (and I'm not totally convinced) there is no way City will pay for Tevez to fly back to Manchester and he then signs with the Rags. It's just a rumour!

sounds good, he can get back sign the relevant forms then go home to bed for a kip. bet hes knackered. we can announce it, double day of blows for the rags then parade him next week.

Hmmm...I have been wondering whether to post this perspective on it because I know what kind of reaction it will get from you lot really. Given quite a few celebrations of him scoring goals in a rags shirt could you still love him as a player if he was in one of our shirts and celebrating in a similar fashion? I'd find it hard personally. Yes, he's an absolute top class player and I'd love him at the club, but it'd take me time to get to grips with singing his name and all that shit that comes with a marquee signing.

Would you lot be able to take to him instaneously?
