TEVEZ medical 10th June 2009 - I am not one to spread incorrect gossip but I believe Tevez had a medical at city yesterday - obviously before Utd accepted the Ronaldo offer. This does not mean he is on way to City or not but surely if he has had a Medical its a confirmed stepping stone.

Havnt a flying donkey if it's true..

Sir Alex Ferguson appears to have failed in an attempt to persuade Carlos Tevez to stay at Manchester United. It is believed that Ferguson telephoned the Argentine striker directly to ask him to stay but it appears his plea has fallen on deaf ears.

Tevez was unimpressed with the Scottish manager's efforts. A source close to him said: "You treat someone badly for a whole year, you don't make it up with a telephone call, right?"

Disappointed that he was overlooked for the majority of United's high-profile games last season Tevez is considering his options with local rivals Manchester City "only one of a few options". The fact that Ferguson is only now making Tevez feel wanted, at the point where he may leave the club, is a further grievance for the Argentine.

According to his advisors, Tevez "will start talking with different clubs" later adding "It should take two to three weeks for ­Carlos's future to be finally decided."

When asked about the possibility of a move to City the source replied: "It's an option. But no one option is more serious than another – City, Chelsea, Liverpool: they're all options."

Wherever Tevez ends up it is likely that he won't be going too far, as the Premier League is the "first choice" for the Argentine.
