Tevez [Merged]

I would ignore the betting with bets like these 5 people get pissed and go and bet 100 quid each and the odds would tumble from 10-1 to evens. This is a tiny book and small money will shift it and they will not take any big bets either.

I also hate myself for posting on a thread that should also be locked till July 1!

been a big move for chelsea over the last 24 hours 8-1 from 20-1 still 4-11 city 2-1 the rags

the odds mean nothing. they're just based on how many people are betting on it. Remember in January we were odds on for signing Kaka but in reality we never had more than a half chance.

we were odds on for kaka cos it was public knowledge that we were in talks with him we did have more than half a chance its just that ac shit it and thats always the way i,l feel about that deal

Chelsea trying to hijack the deal:

Chelsea will make a last-ditch bid to hijack Carlos Tevez's £30million move to Manchester City. Tevez is set to snub Manchester United's bid to persuade him to stay at Old Trafford even after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. City are still favourites to land the Argentina striker - but Chelsea have now told Tevez's agents they would be interested in a deal. (News of the World

There was alot of talk that the media had agreed to keep the tevez deal quiet, hence why its not got that much coverage considering we have a 300 page thread on it. Anyway maybe they was told today is the day they can break the news as somthing is going to be announced immenently. Maybe?

Sounds good but not sure I trust the Mirror. There maybe some truth in the chelsea link though. they really need a marque signing this summer after the arrival of Ancelotti. Can see them getting Aguero.

just a thought, could it be that the deal is all done and ready to be signed. and everyone concerned is in agreement.

BUT, as the the rags have a contract with him until the 30th June and announcment before this date could only be done with their permission. With ladyboy signing for Madrid i'm sure the last thing bacon face wants is this being confirmed.

The silence coming out of the swamp is deafening, most Rag fans want Tevez and one way of appeasing them would be to announce Tevez is staying with them. if he was i am sure this would have been confirmed within 24 hours of Ronaldo going.

an article posted earlier mentioned he wanted a short break, i think this is it now.

I believe it is all done and dusted and he will be coming our way but not until the 1st July

I believe this too. The likelihood that the rags are in for Villa and Benzema will not fill him with confidence and so the July 1 deadline is likely to work in our favour methinks.
