I have absolutely know inside information or insightful opinion on this subject.
I'm only adding on to this thread so that I can tell my great grandchildren that I, too, was part of the longest, most frustrating and drawn-out, thread in internet history.
Well that and also, I'm kind of half afraid that is compulsory to say something - anything, in fact - about this rumoured transfer. If so, I'd like to apologise for my abject failure in not doing so before now. Also, I'd like to apologise for not knowing anybody whose third cousin (once removed) is a dentist to the grandson of the gypsy whose horse was buried under the pitch at Maine Road - and has his finger on the pulse at MCFC in a 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink, keep-it-under-your-hat because I'm only telling you beacuse I like your sister' kind of thing.
Mostly, I'd especially like to apologise to anybody else who, like me, has logged on to this thread for the four hundreth time only to find that the latest post is from yet another f**king idiot.
In the meantime, I'm going to say that City will sign somebody, possibly named Tevez (although equally possibly not named Tevez and an entirely different person, to boot) and it'll happen ahmmm... dunno when it'll happen but mark my words, you heard it here first... it will happen.
