I think people believe that I do not want him here because I believe he is going elsewhere personally which is not the case. I would love nothing more than to see Carlos in a City shirt come the Blackburn game, but at the same time I am not getting my hopes up either. We've seen these long drawn out sagas end having us failed miserably in the past so it sort of knocks your confidence in getting excited really doesn't it?
It'd be a hell of a statement of intent getting such a quality player from the reigning domestic champions though wouldn't it?

Its taken some big twists and turns...for a long time we looked big favourites to get him. Then the Ronaldo sale came, and United looked strong contenders. That started to wane, but then Chelsea apparantly came in with a late bid. All the betting was then going Chelsea's way. Yet then Chelsea distanced themselves from reports linking them with Tevez. Now a frustrated United are talking about setting deadlines for Tevez...which surely gives us the upper hand again.
