Tevez [Merged]

Re: Players turn on Tevez and don't want him as captain

Though Tevez's contribution far outstripped that of any team-mate last season.

Vincent Kompany, the club's player of the year

What dribbling moron wrote this shit?

Bayern Munich remain confident they will be able to agree a fee with City for Jerome Boateng. Though City have signalled they do not want to sell, the Bayern chief executive, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, has confirmed the defender is on the club's radar and he hopes the clubs will be able to finalise a deal.

Loan only, if at all... FUcking hypocrites. Look at what happens when teams come in for their players, now they're saying 'City don't want to sell, but we're confident we can come to an arangement.'

The footballing world is full of absolute tossers.

Mancini said Boateng can become one of Europe's best under his management, i highly doubt that's changed after an injury plagued season.

I am not defending today's article by Ian Herbert (though I have no doubts that some senior players are fed up with the antics of Carlos). But Herbert has written two of the best articles this season about Mario, based on exclusive interviews.
This does sound like a planted story from the club as either a classic preparing the ground piece (prior to removing the captaincy) or as a shot across the bows to Joorabchian. I do know that Tevez does take his captaincy seriously so it would affect him if he felt he didn't have the respect of his colleagues.

Some people have an ability to pick up other languages quickly (Zaba for instance) and some don't. If Tevez doesn't have that ability his English will likely never be more than broken no matter how long he's here.

Exactly and I too was shit at school when doing French,so for people to harp on about Tevez trying to learn another language, just forget it.

Re: Ray Wilkins on Tevez

nothing wrong with Walkins comments, Tevez should have learned English. Mancini did and probably still working on it.

"this is the advantage of being a footballer, you're bound to learn to speak the language of the country where you play. haha"

@SeedorfOfficial - tweeted that yesterday!

I guess that doesn't apply with Carlos Tevez :/

Re: Players turn on Tevez and don't want him as captain

I can't believe anyone still thinks that Carlos is going to move this summer. It's patently obvious that nobody is willing to pay the money...and it's also patently obvious that City don't need to sell him...and certainly won't be doing so once preseason training has started...

you trying to learn french couple of hours a week in school is not the same as living in a country in 5 years and being a millionaire. With the time and money tevez has available to him, if he wants to he would learn the language by now. He can easily appoint the best teachers to give him private lessons on his spare time if he wants to. there's simply no excuse

Blame Tevez!

I say this everytime. The problem is Kia. It was like this at Boca, West Ham, United and everywhere else Carlos has been. His agent/advisor is good in the sense that he'll earn his client serious money but he's bad in the sense that he clearly has no footballing knowledge. As much as we love it- a good advisor would not let his client go from United to City. It crosses an undrawn line. My major concern is that he'll end up at Chelsea. Kia obviously has takes no regard for footballing rivalries.

The only way he'll end up at Chelsea is if they pay at least 60m or they wait 3 years and get him for nowt

tevez and his agent dont give a fuck for the fans of any club.

did you see tevez throw a city scarf he was given on the floor at wembley.

he and his agent are playing the game so it impossible to keep him, and the nearer the transfer deadline they leave it the less we`ll get and the more they can get plus a bigger signing on fee.

great player that he is were best shut. he`s playing the system for all its worth.
