"Tevez return-I am, morally, a hypocrite" - new blog article

A great read, and sums up what a lot of supporters feel about the whole thing, and while I hold firm that even the chance he could win us the title would not be a reason to play him ever again I do accept there are other points of veiw.

What I thought as I read through it was just how fortunate we have been with having Roberto as manager when this happend, the media certainly played both sides as they always do, but bob handled the whole thing perfectly for my money.

Play him in the Europa league if he's fit let the others rest for the Premiership, then bench him for the final.

Makes you think - if you're Aguero, Balo, or Dzeko who have worked their ass out for the entire season for this team, and you get dropped at any point in the remainder of the season for this immoral as&hole - how would YOU react???

I would still love the club, of course, but I would loose all respect for Mancini - cause in the end he is the one calling shots. And then if Mancini is here for years to come, I wouldnt see myself in the same boat.

I think Mancini playing Tevez in any of remaining games instead of one of our three golden strikers would be his BIGGEST MISTAKE in his City career, cause I dont think any of them would deserve such humiliation and disrespect for the hard work.

That is too true and the blog is spot on for my feelings towards that twat playing for us again and upsetting the balance,it would pave the way for any player to just go awol for four months, come back and pick up a medal whilst insulting everyone else's hard work and dedication to the club.
Having seen few minutes of video from yesterday he looks more than three weeks away and as uninterested playing in the EDS as he was playing in the CC against Brum!
Aguero is ahead of him in the national side and when we signed him CT lost all interest in battling for a start ahead of Kun,because he knows that Kun will always give that extra 10% in training and on the pitch! Plus I still believe that he waved byebye against Stoke at home thinking he was as good as gone from Manchester.

In three weeks time he may be fit enough but that is gonna take a lot of work, which I doubt CT will have the determination to see through! He is just going through the motions expecting to be picked ahead of our first three strikers and if he does play a part I can't see Bobby playing him in anywhere near the state he was in against Bolton or Wigan cos he was obviously nowhere near the fitness levels of Kun,Edin or Mario!

In Bobby we trust and I trust him to put that fat twat through plenty of hoops before even contemplating playing him!

In fact, this is the least concerning thing for me.

There is no way in the world a fit Aguero gets dropped for a half fit Tevez, unless Aguero has gone off the boil to a spectacular extent. I don't see that happening any time soon, but if it did, I think Aguero would be his own harshest critic, and would understand the decision to replace him with Tevez.

Replacing Balo or Dzeko with Tevez seems more likely to me. Neither would I think take that decision particularly well: but if there is one manager who can reach out to Balo, and one coach that Balo respects, it is RM. So, however reluctantly, I think Balo would accept the decision.

So far as Dzeko is concerned, in my view he is an exceptional professional and a decent bloke (so far as you can tell if you don't know him). If he made way for Tevez, he wouldn't like it but IMO he is too professional to blow a gasket over the issue.

But as with Aguero, to replace a fit Balo/Dzeko with a half fit Tevez isnt going to happen unless someone has a real drop off in form. And when Tevez regains match fitness, if he is impressing in training more than they are, all three are IMO professional enough - with RM's help - to accept that.

I think that in the long term, all three know their futures at MCFC are secure, whereas Tevez will be out on his arse in the Summer. If the price of a championship is that one makes way for Tevez, I'd expect them to understand that.

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of other objections to Tevez' return to the fold, but the reaction of these three isn't a concern for me.

Let the manager choose. I can't really foresee him playing, unless we were fortunate enough to win the title with games to spare. We're top without him, so there should be strength enough to stay there without him.

How many games does a player have to take part in to be awarded a medal for winning the Premier League. If Tevez is picked to play,I hope his seasons total is one less than is required.

Very good read. The rat should be kept well clear of a first team place, you'd have thought he'd of had the decency to keep himself fit ...not just for us but for any potential club.

So Micah is hypocrite when he said

It is mixed feelings [for fans] really, but as a player I am happy to have him back because he is an outstanding player."

"Tevez was outstanding last season. He was inspirational," added Richards. "He was our captain and a leader. He was unbelievable on the ball but also off it, he worked so hard.

"He is a nightmare to play against and to have that in the team would be really good for us.

Thats not the entire quote though is it?

If you are gonna use player quotes to back up your support for Herman at least be honest enough to post the full quote.

I don't have to put the full interview, I just copied whats mattered for me which are his personal thoughts on Tevez come back.

Again, his personal thoughts and feelings and NOT what he think the fans may think or feel.

We know that 99.9% of the fans are not happy to see Tevez coming back, but for the players it seems the percentage is different little bit and they are happy to see him coming back.

Are they hypocrites ?
