Tevez to appear for the reserves on Tuesday!

Some people need to realise that booing one player can afffect others too.

Which then means it will affect the teams performance, whether its one not performing (the person being booed) or others.

Which then will affect our chances of winning the title.

Whats more important, making a point to a player who will be here for no longer than 3 months

or celebrating winning the league?

Everything comes to those that wait, and i've waited long enough to see City lift the Prem title.

Tevez can wait a little longer, our paths will cross again. Fate works like that.

This.

The fans can derail our season just as much, if not more, than Tevez can.

The club have moved on, Tevez has, Mancini has. The fans need to as well.

What happens off the pitch should stay off the pitch. His committment whilst on the pitch cannot be questioned during his time in a blue shirt.

Bollocks, I've never seen a lazier player than Tevez early this season.

I fully support Mancini and if he chooses to use Tevez again this season then I'll support that decision too. However, how would you feel if you were Sergio, Mario or Edin and you were told you wouldn't be starting a particular game, but that Tevez would?

Examples?

I might be wrong but he didn't play 90 minutes apart from Birmingham in the cup, where the whole team didn't get out of 1st gear. Made a handful of late sub appearances, then the infamous Bayern game.

Had a good game against Wigan, penalty miss aside.

I've seen plenty of lazier players than Tevez over the years in those handful of sub appearances.

He came on as a sub early season and literally never stopped walking.

His enormous workrate is generally a myth. He covers a similar amount of ground as the average striker

Sorry but this is rubbish - Santa Cruz, Adebayour, Benjani - all much lazier players - tevez will chase the last defender around and the goalkeeper

Balotelli covers less ground than tevez - he stops when the ball is going away from him - Tevez will chase it down

I love balotelli but think he can improve with a bit more willing - I dont particularly like tevez but if Mancini plays him we should get behind him

This is the Tevez myth personified.

Tevez does this when he first joins a club but the more time that he spends at it, the less he does it. I even noted this last year at some point in a post on here and nobody then could remember the last time he did it. When was the last time that Tevez chased the ball to two or three players?

I agree

but IF he plays again for us in the prem if he's got any sense (debatable) he'll need to pull the trees up just to ensure that he impresses enough to get his move in the summer and get the bulk of the fans of his back

Mancini had been on a mission to integrate Carlos as quickly as possible. He was not fit to come on as a sub. Although historically he has been one of the most effective subs in the last decade.
