yep that would be a token start towards reconciliation I supposeflightless said:Maybe if he got a full body tattoo of the shirt, sacked Kia, paid to issue a televised apology and banged Baconface's wife then I'd be willing to give him a chance
Manchester City is stronger without Tevez......End offBlueForever123 said:BlueForever123 wrote:
but on purely footballing terms, a squad with him in it is better than one without him.
No it is not.
I know its all about opinions but I don't know how anyone can argue with that. Not sure why I'm bothering as even I am starting to think I am sounding pro Tevez but if you forget the crap that comes with him and the disrest in the squad etc - on purely footballing terms - as I said before - ANY squad is stronger with Tevez in it than without.

He captained our team to champions league qualification and to our first piece of silverware in 35 years.
One couldn't predict how sour this story has unfolded since the day he lifted that trophy pitch-side with Mancini at Wembley
I don't think many blues will dwell on this after he has left. Our future is bright.
The only person that will feel shortchanged is Tevez. We are going places. He (in many ways) is not. His life will be full of regrets. This will be his biggest.

On this mate, he wasn't alone! We had a 5th column in there as you know too well.
I think it is tragic how this turned out... he was set up to be an all time great, a legend, a God... But the family thing took over, clouded his judgement and he became vulnerable to bad advice.
What I would love to know is: What were the broken promises that he (and his snake) kept alluding to?

I'll give you another version. He was a player who, along with his advisor, leaked every cough and splutter from the dressing room to undermine Mancini.
Who spat his dummy out even further in the summer of 2010 when he discovered Mourinho was not coming and demanded to leave, before his snake was ordered to heel in Abu Dhabi.
Who plotted a formal transfer request in December 2010 (days after we had gone top of the table) and courted Real Madrid.
Who again downed tools from that moment onwards with a series of half-arsed displays and trips halfway across the globe to see his girlfriend in Berlin and Spain.
Who came back injured for the FA Cup Final only because he wanted the personal glory and used our scarf like a piece of toilet paper.
Who refused to go on the FA Cup bus tour until threatened with a fine.
Who submitted another transfer request in the summer and plotted with Corinthians to pretend to buy him before he would be surprisingly sold back to Europe months after.
Who came back over a stone in weight after his extended holiday and was already in the ear of Sergio telling him he would hate England.
Who then decided on our biggest ever night in the Champions League to refuse to play/warm up, just days after he had been told his £5m loyalty bonus would not be paid.
Who accused our manager of lying and throwing all manner of subsequent olive banches back in his face.
Who finally decided to fuck off back to South America when he couldn't hack his half an hour a day training on his own.
Who challenged our fine and had it reduced by £400,00
Who has continued to receive payment.
Who plotted with AC Milan to force City into a corner.
Who plotted with The Sun to leak Gary Cook/Onouha farce a year after the actual event.
Who gambled he was bigger than the club and found he was anything but.
Who indeed!

Paris Saint-Germain set to offer Carlos Tevez £8.3m-a-year wages after missing out on AC Milan's Alexandre Pato - report
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to put their disappointment at missing out on AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato to one side by offering Manchester City wantaway Carlos Tevez €10 million (£8.3m) per year in wages, according to Le Parisien.
The big-spending Ligue 1 outfit were keen to reunite new coach Carlo Ancelotti with his former protege Pato in the French capital, but the Brazilian forward turned down their advances to stay in Italy.
Meanwhile, AC Milan have ceased negotiations with Manchester City over the Argentine attacker due to the 22-year-old's decision to stay at the Giuseppe Meazza, and Inter are waiting until after the Milan derby to progress with their interest in Tevez.
This will reportedly prompt the Parc des Princes side to take the initiative and make a case to bring the controversial striker to Ligue 1.
With Ancelotti admitting that a big-name new striker was on the transfer agenda, the newspaper claims that PSG are set to overcome Tevez’s initial trepidation over a move to France by offering a bumper pay packet.
Goal.com revealed earlier that the 27-year-old is ready to take a large drop in salary to force a move away from the Etihad Stadium, but a switch to the current Ligue 1 leaders could see Tevez remain close to his current earnings.

Sounds to me like some spin from AC, I bet some poor horse has already lost his head somewhere in Milan and Pato will find a nice present in bed with him soon :pCityisland said:From France: PSG, Tevez still in the running. And Pato is not over
