Tevez v Robinho

Argentina are far better than Brazil without Maradona, but with Maradona still in charge Brazil will probably win.

Far better? On what basis do you come up with that?

Should be a good game and a huge game for Argentina in terms of their WC Chances

Just watching both teams play over the last few years. Love watching South American football.

It's top to watch but can't agree that Argentina are 'far better' than Brazil without Maradona. They're both great going forward but Brazil are better defensively and have the edge for me

You not been been watching them for the last year then mate? Maradona has them playing shit (Watch the Bolivia game) plus Brazil are now a miles better all round team. As for the 'amazing' players the Argies seem to have, apart from Messi and Aguero I wouldn't say they have any other world class players at their disposal. Whereas Brazil have Robbie, Kaka, Julio Cesar, Maicon, Dani Alves plus Lucio and Fabiano who you could also argue are world class. I'd be surprised if Argentina made it to the quarters next year tbh, if that.

'Kin ell went off on a rant there

Any team going to Bolivia will struggle. They played at around 3000-4100m above see level. Unless you train there for a few weeks, you will never perform your best.
By the way, you missed Tevez, and Mascherano! Maxi rodriguez is pretty good as well and i guess you can argue that Zanetti and Heinze are world class too
So...
Messi > Robinho (Don't kill me ...)
Tevez > Fabiano
and Aguero <= Kaka ( can't really compare these two as Kaka is a midfielder and Aguero is ST)
thats 2 to 1 for Argentina :) .
You care to repeat that? Oh and I don't throw the term 'world class' around loosely, so for me Tevez and Mascherano not world class.

Brazil are a much better attacking team, but Argentina are better all round. As much as I hate to, I'm tipping Argentina to win the next World Cup, they've got some amazing players all hitting their prime at the same time (Mascherano, Tevez, Messi et al) and on their day are unbeatable!
