Agreed, can see why other fans think we are arrogant now...
Why is it arrogant to find his actions and words distasteful and beyond reproach?
We don't expect all players to love the club but FFS they should not disrespect it in the manner he has so blatantly. If you turn a blind eye to this situation out of some misplaced grattitude that City have such a world class player then you have no respect for the club. Remoinds me of guys who will put up with their bird cheating on them just because she's ultra fit and they are grateful to have her......sad and embarassing really....

It's not like that at all though is it mate..? Not even remotely the same.

It is EXACTLY the same mate. If tevez wasn't such a world class player everyone would tell him to fuck off from City. Imagine Jo doing this? What would the reaction be then? It's pampering to players like Tevez that makes us look foolish as we did with Robinho.

Hold on a minute. Isn't RSC, and Ade and Given for that matter, trying to get themselves other clubs..? The difference is that Tevez is/was our talisman and can still do a job for us. After all, that's what it is. A job.

You know as well as I and City know that these "statements" are straight from KJ.

Plus if you've ever actually been fucked over by a woman you'll know that this is NOT the same. Grow up.

It is possible to faqll out with someone without resorting to childish insults and hissy fits.

Bob Shankley was joking when he said football was more important than life.. Some just didn't get the irony.

Yes. He might give 100%.
But according to his terms i.e being selfish & not assisting his teammates (who has a better chance) in scoring etc ? What about if things doen't turn his way?

Remember he has vow never to play for City again why made another vow (180° turn) now?

All the vows (marriage, kissing badge, helping us win titles etc. ) shows that he is two-faced. No?

He wants Hughes to stay.
He loves Mancini
He doesn't want double training
He will come for training
He wants to be the highest paid
No its not money
Leave, for he misses his family
No, Extra day to visit his interest?
He wants to be subbed out
He wants to be stay in
He loves the badge
No he doesn't

I think we can belabour the point, eh?

Nah bottom line is Cook (i.e. City) is bigger than any player especially 2-faced one (Tevez )!!

1. We don't know if those 3 are trying to get other clubs as you say and thats the point, if they are we don't know because they haven't behaved in such a public show of petulance and self importance like Tevez has. All players who atren't playing are unhappy but to hand in a transfer request and lie over and over again, trying to sully the name of exwecutives and give bull shit stories that he misses his family is pathetic. None of the three players you mention have behaved liker that even if they want to leave. And thats the point i'm making. It's his behaviour which sticks in my throat. I think Manchester city are bigger than him, and better than him. Just my opinion.
2. These statements are from KJ? How you know this? He is obviously involved BUT Tevez isn't a puppet to him. Tevez may not be the most intellectual of men but he isn't too stupid to know how to manipulate situations. Even if he had nothing to do with it why not state in public this? He hasn't because he fully endorses it, don't be so naieve mate.
3. The woman analogy I used is the same in principle as you well know. Many people have posted on here that because he is our star player he can do what he wants. Not for me. I respect MCFC too much for that. I don't care if a player doesn't give a shit about City [most players don't about their clubs] BUT how a player behaves is important especially our bloody captain.

Are they blaming Cook for the issues. I feel we as fans need to show we are on Cook's/the executive's/the board's side. Can't let them wedge the club in two.

(Unless anyone is on Tevez's/Kia's side)

Cannot think of any player who has turned into such a 'disappointment' as Carlos has.

The way he has handled this, despite what provocations might be about, will not have a positive effect. Whether he gives 100% or not, there will be a 'reluctance' on the part of supporters from now till the end of the season. And I think it won't diminish were there to be a change of mind.

oh we are so honoured the boy tevez is still going o give 100%

we are not worthy.

wish hed just shut the fuck up now

Good. Keep him til the end of the season when it will be much easier to replace him and adjust to life without him. If he still wants to go, let him. It'll be hard to chop and change a player as good as him mid-season. The compromise must be to keep him til the summer

Fair enough.

My problem is that the whole thing had to go public. Why not just agree to this without all the drama?

It went public because Kia/Tevez chose to make it public, not the club.

Does anyone else think though that in this case we seem to have the media on our side with this. Not just in the comments from journos etc, but in the fact that it really hasn't been that big a story for sky, etc. Take for example ssn coverage. They are covering the story, but not making a really big deal out of it, which a few months ago they would have gone to town on us. The same on Monday night when Keys and Gray were talking about it. They basically backed us then quickly moved on. It's almost as though even though there is inevitable interest in the story, it is being kept relatively quiet.

I hope he does play one more time for us though so that he can get an idea of how much feeling there is for how he has let us down.

just as bad as robinho..sulky little ?????....give 100 per cent to some other club

Hang on a minute, the guy has an issue with his employer. This is something will all have from time to time. But why do we need this attitude to our best player over the past 16 months.

I honestly feel some city fans need to wake up and smell the coffee!

Agreed, can see why other fans think we are arrogant now...

Disagree. I think you'll find "other fans" are hoping we take a stance against this tosser and I think we'll gain some of our credibilty with them back. I really dont see the comparison. If I have an issue with any of my employees I expect it to be done in private and I don't expect their fucking partner to come in and claim I think i'm bigger than them!

You only have to look at Baconface to see the respect thats required to be successful

remember the ladyboy scenario at the swamp.
He wanted out and had a suitor lined up. Baconface came out with "I wouldn't sell that lot a virus"
A year later, after ladyboy had practically won the league on his own, he was sold

Difference being those players aren't playing regularly, aren't our captain, aren't already our highest paid players, and have gone about it in a better fashion.

Spot on.
The galling thing is is that the first time in decades we go top of the league instead of enjoying it we have to put up with the Tevez 'look at me freak show' putting a dampner on it all. Instead of the press recognising the world class performances by Silva, Yaya and co Tevez hogs the headlines as he's been doing for weeks. I'm sick of hearing/reading his name to be honest he seems to place himself on a pedastal, an untouchable God who is doing us a favour by gracing us with his talents.
I'd be happy if he left the club for good today and never came back. I'd rather have the commitment of Kompany and dejong etc than his petulant self-serving antics. He is a disgrace and we don't need him. Yes a commited tevez is an asset, a bloody good one, but a disruptive Tevez could derail our whole season and bring disharmony to the team and make us look stupid once again. After the Kaka saga, the terry saga, the negative press we've had [some of it unfair, some of it brought on ourselves] we should be enjoying a settled period being right at the top of the league. The press were beginning to warm to us before this and the way they have generally backed us over this affair shows that. Carlos has thrown a massive spanner into the season through pure greed and self-interest and as our captain that is an appalling example to set. Time to throw out the garbage that is beginning to stink.
