Tevez Vs Dzeko

Great, let's use the ability of a player who suits our tactics to criticise and find fault with one that quite clearly doesn't and never has.

Dzeko was a strange and poor purchase but he is not a poor player.

I've always admired Dzeko, he has a good shot on him with both feet, but he just lacks that little bit of pace that we seem to be utilising a lot recently in previous games.

It does however, frustrate the hell out of me, when I see our fullbacks flinging balls in to the box, that Dzeko would get on to with his head, and not the 5ft something midgets from Argentina!

Tevez is no quicker than Dzeko. The main difference between them isn't pace, but touch, intelligence and work rate. I find is surprising that you have any complaints about how we played today.

Those "5ft something midgets from Argentina" are two of the most gifted footballers on the planet and have orchestrated 10 goals in 2 games. No real need for lanky target men and full backs swinging it in when these two are playing so well together.

It wasn't a complaint on the performance, it was more so directed towards previous games where we have been putting crosses in, with nobody tall enough to get their head on it. That being said, Tevez out jumped that 6ft2" bloke for his second, so who says little men can't jump.

There is no faulting the Argentinians class, and it worked tremendously well.

Hasnt Mancini admitted that Dzeko doesnt suit the short passing game that City play. That's all it comes down to ,he doesnt suit our style of play and he will be a great success again when he goes to a club who play the way that does suit him.

One player is suited to playing in the Premiership and the other is not.

Wrong, one player is suited to the style that City plays, and the other is not.

Give Dzeko a season in a team with good wingers/crossers (like United), then we can talk.

Tevez, the **** that he may be, is much better than Dzeko in this short-passing style of play, and there is noone disputing that.
