Tevez.

In his most recent interview (tevez) he said it`s about game time and starting games.
I really don`t think he`ll start that many at Liverpool. Gerrard sometimes plays behind a striker. They got Torres, kuyt.
IF he goes to the scouse then he wo`t really be in a much better position than he is now, surely?

He would be a regular starter at City and with the world cup in 2010 tevez will want first team football ona regular basis!
That might have been more a shot at the rags, talking about game time, it justifies moving to a rival.

he has just said his agent has been negotiating his move and he is waiting to hear from him..Its gonna be sorted one way or the other in the next couple of days...

If that true, then City might weel be his next club as his agent, like all agents love the smell of the big bucks!!!

He in the meantime has gone to Argentina to join up with his team mates. (Clears up why he wasn't on the rag bus). It looks as though he might have burnt his bridges with the rags, saying the one and only all powerful wizard that is fergiscum got the team selection wrong and he should have played from the start. Normally when rag players do that they don't play for baconface anymore. Only my opinion of course.

I hopew your right. Over the last 3 or 4 days or so I had thought he was going to stay with Gill saying they will pay it etc but Tevez has made 2 or 3 comments recently that seems to indicate he will move on. I just wonder whether the deal is done (Ajay mentioned earlier that Hughes, Cook and Khaldoon were in Rome) but they are waiting to announce it, maybe letting the dust settle after Weds nights fun. :-)

Also would not surprise me if they were speaking to some of BArca's senior people if reports about Eto'o and Yaya Toure are to be believed... who knows but I have a feeling we wont be waiting too much longer !

Errrgh, if we are playing with him as a lone man I expect Xabi Alonso or someone in that vain or we will really struggle against the bigger (in height) teams.

He won't be lone man though. We'll go 4-4-2 and still get in a target man as well.....I hope ;o)!

Wouldnt this mean we would be going 4-3-3, with the front 3 as Robinho, Target man, Tevez? Or do you see us using Robinho as a left winger?

Given
Zabaleta
Kompany
New CB/Onhua
New full back/Bridge

De Jong
Ireland
Alonso

Tevez
Target man
Robinho

Subs
Hart
Richards
SWP
Bellamy
Bojinov
+2 Others

all is good but i think id be more than happy with bellamy up front, imagine the effort upfront with them 3, all of them chase the ball like a dog and bone
