Today it wasnt happening for him, tried everything he could to scramble round Villas defense and get a shot in but it just wouldn't happen.

If City is to win the title it can't be one man show. Carlos has to decide if he wants to be the top scorer in 5th/6th place team, or one of the players in the EPL champion. He can be the best and score a lot in any team, but that team will never win anything as long as Carlos is doing just that. To win you need team players - this is team sport after all. Why do you think Ferguson didn't try hard enough to keep him at OT?

Anyone still feel that we are too reliant on him? Last week when we went 1-0 down against Wolves he got fired up and managed to inspire those around him. Today it wasnt happening for him, tried everything he could to scramble round Villas defense and get a shot in but it just wouldn't happen. Villa did everything right... as soon as the ball hit Tevez he was surrounded, the only time he managed to get hold of the ball was when he dropped deep.

of course we're reliant on one of the best strikers on the planet at the minute.....fuckin hell what do you suggest that we drop players that we're too reliant on?

I think he become a little to greedy on a couple occasion's yesterday there was an easy ball he could have played!

Also think he should of gone wide rather than Dzeko

All he does is always try to go solo and when it doesn't work he loses the ball attempting to break through a 10 man defense instead of passing the ball.. He always wants the spotlight on him, he could of assisted Dzeko yesterday at least once, but he didn't because he decided to go solo and be greedy... Balotelli in for Tevez!

tbh he is quite greedy too, just the way he plays. balotelli playing instead of tevez, but having a poor game would affect us less. i think that makes sense.

no, he's saying that if balotelli played shit in tevez's place, it would affect the team less than tevez having a poor game. he's suggesting that the team rely on tevez but wouldn't rely on balotelli.
