Where do we think Carlos will be next year? With all of this talk of Falcao, I think the easy answer to selling both Dzeko and Balotelli is to let Carlos move on with his life. He has been (dare I say it) a model professional since his return. One has to wonder where he will be after this year.

Hi alky,

I have to question your easy answer mate tbh.

The hard facts are we dunno the inner workings but Tevez seems happy now.

I think he will stay personally and would not mind if he does.

All i ever ask is a player gives his all, as you say since he has sorted his personal life he has been nothing short of exemplary.

I wanted him gone more than most probably due to my extreme old fashioned idea effort = good.

Now we have the full picture i held my hands up and said "ok he was fucked due to family issues but he has sorted them and his performances and attitude reflect that.

I would love him to stay now his head in not up his arse and hope he does tbh.

If this makes me some kind of bm shithouse so be it, these are my feelings on him.

His contract ends in 2014.

How often do clubs let £25m plus players go on a free? The upcoming closed season (if he hasn't signed an extension) will likely be his last here. So my question is. Do we resign him or do we sell.

I think he will stay mate... but like you say when do you see clubs letting 25 million pound players leave for free?? Personally i can see him being sold for 20 million at the end of the year but if he steps his game up again i wouldn’t mind the club giving him 1 more year on his contract.... some won’t agree that is fair enough.... I can’t see us letting him go for nothing, unless its Boca

I believe they have an agreement so that he can go back to Argentina after his contract runs down

Would'nt totally shock me if he moved on.

I think of the four only Aguero is a sure thing to stay.

Yeah, I know it sounded weird, but look. Those 2 season when he was amazing he played as a lone striker, in a defencive more direct team. In the one touch, keep the ball, pass around "tiki-taka" style he doesnt fit IMO. But, sometimes he carries the team on his shoulders (etc. swansea) so yeah, I``m fully aware of his class!

you always been thought of as a shithouse, but take comfort in the knowledge that your our shithouse

:)

He makes £250,000 a week. He's not going anywhere until his contract is up. Even PSG wouldn't touch him...

61 goals in 108 games, pretty decent.

Easily worth a new contract i think, preferably on slightly reduced or more performance based terms (i'm sure Soriano could work something out).

As far as i'm concerned any problems we have don't lie with our strikers, i don't see the point of change for changes sake.

His next set of wages are included in FFP. After 3 transfer requests and a mid season sabbatical I hope its the last of him.

Put his money towards a cheaper player who wants to play for us.

No one will take on his wages as it stands and in about 19 months he'll be a free agent and since no one will offer him what we did, they'll be able to get him for much less than he'd cost now. Selling him now would be ideal for us while he still has value but it's not going to happen so let's just hope we get another good 1 1/2 seasons out of him.

Might be a bit far fetched but I expect both Dzeko and Balotelli to leave by next summer and us to bring in Falcao/Neymar leaving us with Tevez/Aguero/Guidetti and then another striker. Tevez then spends the last year of his contract with us before going on a free with Guidetti being promoted as 3rd striker. Although if he really does rediscover his first season goalscoring form I cant see a reason why we shouldn't offer him a contract extension.

I'm very affraid that one will end up at chelsea and the other at real/barca...we need to focus on another striker ..cavani for example....sell mario now tevez in the summer then buy cavani and we will remain with aguero/dzeko/cavani/guidetti...and also if we sell tevez the we need a player who can play behind striker...the answer:isco.
