When it comes to thai owners he is less dodgy than them lot at leicester.

I remember when he got elected as I was living in Thailand at the time, silly twat got himslef in a civil war in the south, went on a failed zero drug policy that led to corrupt locals and coppers executing rivals and pissed off the Thai establishment.
Still I know a fair few Thais that still love him for his time.


The party in the square was top though, Thai food, beer, and bands playing luk tung/mor lam and Thai pop music, what else do you need :-)

Propaganda stunt.
Frank offered free noodles to City fans to celebrate his takeover at the club. City fans in their hundreds turned up and fell for it - for a price of a bowl of noodles. Even the council were duped as Frank made headline news in England and back in Thailand.

I think a lot of us really thought back then that he would be the one who would finally bring some success to our club after all those years. Little did we know he was merely the warm up act.

As I understand it he found the Sheikh so will always be grateful.

Gutted for Sven though I thought he was great
