Absolute legend and still maintain Eddy is good enough for a couple of seasons. Fenerbache have got themselves a bargain.One of our record breakers.

I don’t think Edersen is best out and out goalkeeper I’ve ever seen but you can’t argue he completely changed goalkeeping in this country - football is different post Edersen and there is no question that his influence spans not just the Premier league but all the way down the football pyramid and into grass roots

He was so influential to everything we have accomplished in the Pep era

An integral part of our greatest ever period. His performance in Istanbul, alone, was crucial and will ensure his legacy. I’ve enjoyed watching him redefine the role of a goalkeeper: his range of passing, his penalty kick, his crazy Cruyff turns and his positivity - backing himself coming off his line, when he shouldn’t have done. In time, maybe more of a cult hero than a legend. Whatever, thanks Eddie!

Yes, those games when I was up in the 3 rd tier, it was a thing of beauty watching him and us ping it around a press never seen aything quite like it maybe never will again. Probably those goals of all 11 players passing the ball will be few and far between too. End of an era, but a new one starting.
 
Absolut revelation. Took some getting used to and we had some heart in mouth moments in the early days until we realised that Cruyff turns, short passes and pinpoint 70 yard passes were all part of this guy's repertoire in his deep lying pivot role. You've been great, Eddie, a real character, a pleasure to watch and one of the first things people will mention when talking about the great City side of 2017-24 is not the 'keeper-sweeper but our keeper-playmaker. And you weren't bad with the saves, either. All the best for the future. You'll be missed.
 
Will be missed a lot. It’s crazy how few goals we conceded considering with what a high risk we played with with Eddie in goal. A unique goal keeper in every sense. Average shot stopper and horrible at saving penalties but my how much his pros outweighed his cons. Thanks for everything Eddie
