i want to say thank you to hughes, for me this has been one of the most enjoyable seasons as a city fan, only other i can remember is the keegan promotion season. i have turned up at home games knowing we are not going to be beaten, and looked forward to a goal fest. away matches i have gone with optimism, unlike other years !!!!!

the whole feeling around the club has improved , and you get a sense of something good about to happen.
hughes has always handled himself impeccably in all his press conferences and has actually even started to wind taggart up !!!!

he is the only one to come of out the weekend with any credit, with his integrity intact.

ok, so we have had to many draws, but we have lost 2 games all season !!!!!!!!!

once again thank you for what you have done.

but life goes on as it always does, now lets get behind mancini and hope he complete what has been started.

he couldn't have done it without the owners money..............

yes MH is a nice guy and I wish him all the best in the future and he will get a job shortly.........

i'm more excited about the mancini appointment than i was about the hughes appointment 18 mths ago i must admit. i personally think getting rid of hughes will be a good move for us with mancini now having a few games to weigh up the squad and then having the opportunity in jan to sort out what he thinks we need. i was however disgusted with the way about the club handled the sacking of hughes, as with the kaka saga it was handled very amatuerish and didn't exactly paint the club in a good light. good luck to hughes in the future though i hope he finds a club at his level and i'm sure he'll make another clubs fans very happy.

tip of the day _ MH will be Boltons next manager.

Whatever he does or wherever he goes i for one wish him all the best and thank him for his efforts.

Apart from the obvious couple, football management is fleeting and they all know it, so it cannot come as a massive shock. The new fella will also know this and if he isnt successful pretty much instantly, he will be gone as well. Thats the way it is unfortunately and it aint gonna change.

I wish him all the best, unless his new club are playing against us...
Still, Im sure he'll get over it, with his pay off and we will forget him soon IF Mancini takes us to glory.

I liked Mark Hughes as a person and wish him luck wherever he goes. However a word of caution to him - take a long hard look at your staff because it was this crew that eventually got him the sack with their inability to improve on basics like defending free kicks and corners etc etc.

Me thinking Newcastle mate, they are defo going to get promoted and they need a big name when they arrive and the current manager will not do. Good luck to Hughes in whatever he does.

i think Mancini will be able to attract players that mark Hughes couldn't, hopefully he can get the best out of Robbie and Ade by giving them the service that suit them best.

thanks mh, best of luck for the future, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
