The players are well payed employees. Love 'em when they are here but in the immediate aftermath of their departure, I have no time for them.
I didn't applaud when Franny scored for Derby but I still consider him a City legend and attended his recent funeral.

I'm not saying every ex-Blue is great for example one I would definitely not cheer for is Joey Barton he would only get one hand clapping!! However if they've played for us then I have to acknowledge that fact. Not always respect them but acknowledge. :-)
