Obviously I wish Gundo all the very best but I'm extremely disappointed such a great player as been "allowed" ? to walk out to fucking Barcelona. I don't know how hard City tried to keep him but I hope it was very very hard.

Sad to see Gundo go but I suppose Barca could offer him a 3 year deal cos he could play another 3 years in La Liga unfortunately he couldn’t have played another 3 years in the PL and so our hands were tied to some degree. Great man, great player, great pro - thanks Gundo and good luck.

I've said this before and nobody has replied or given me their opinion. When kompany left he said nobody had asked him to stay for another year. I thought this was astonishing. If I hadn't heard vinny say it I would have never believed it .

Arguably one of the most underrated City players of all time. Delivered when we needed him most.

Underrated by others maybe, but not by City. I think most know that he’s been a legend, up there with David Silva.

Disagree mate… he plays the game at his own pace and never looks flustered. He looked to be at his peak and I think he would have done another 3 years in the PL. He’s a huge loss, an irreplaceable one, but I’m sure we’ll adapt and move on. Truly gutted to see him go, but I wish him well.

If ever a player was fit to wear the number 8 shirt it was Gundo. He was an absolute pleasure to watch and to listen to. A true gentleman and a privilege to have him at City. He will leave a big void that we will need to fill.
