They're doing some work on the line. Looks like buses to Rayner Lane from Ruislip which is a couple of stops then onto underground to Wembley.

Hopefully they'll realise that its not just a normal Sunday and the shuttle buses will have 1,000's of blues trying to get on them.

I have spoken to Jamie this morning and he will ring me with any info as he is going to the station today once I have heard from him I will post any further info on here, if they are using a bus service it is a 10 min ride.

Cheers mate I think the main worry unless London is different than it is that here it could be messy.

Yesterday the line was closed from central Manchester to Old Trafford for the cricket. no thought was put into movement of masses of people rather than the usual half a dozen people at weekends.

Looks like it replacement buses at ruslip.just had a look online and that's what it's saying.this could get very messy if it is true.they might not expect hundreds of people drinking at wealdstone.i hope this doesn't go tits up

Jamie has rang me back and the works are due to finish that weekend so there is a slight chance it might be done and finished, they are working on the assumption they won't be and extra buses will be running as they have taken into consideration that Wembley is hosting a match including there being a London club involved. The trip by bus would add 25 mins to our trip into Wembley so Jamie said if you plan on leaving 30 mins earlier than normal you will have no problems. Like he has said he wants to make sure we are looked after and any more news regarding the station and he will call me again.

The post code for Wealdstone FC is HA46JQ and Jamie has just rang me to say there are 400 City fans booked in at the moment. He is going to give me an update on the train station situation on Weds or Thurs, they should also have a new food wagon on show on Sunday.

great great venue, well worth a pre match pint. able to get a pint or 10 easily as opposed to round wemberley!

brings back fond memories when i met citykev for the first time since the battle of the glass bridge circa 1982! we settled for a more amicable affair that time, a chinese burn comp followed by a riotous paper rock scissors game which got quite lively and was enjoyed by many a blue on the day...happy days

Overground trains are running from West Ruislip. About a fifteen minute walk from Wealdstone. Trains leaving at 12.48, 13.17 and 13.45. Journey time about 11 mins to Wembley Stadium station which is at the east side of the stadium by the Ibis Hotel.

Jamie from the Wealdstone has just rang to say buses will be every 12 mins from the to Rayners Lane, he said some of the coach driver were going to drop their fans at Rayners Lane then park back up at Wealdstone, I was going to drive to Harrow but he just said its about a 10 min drive to Rayners and a large car park so that's my plan.
