Thank you west ham....

I can see the logic in not wanting to pay massive overs for players though.

If we say "Right Sam, we want Santa Cruz no matter what. Write a figure between 15 million and the number of pies you eat per year. Oh, and don't forget your brown envelope on the way out..." then teams will really start taking the piss.

We have to stay restrained in our spending, otherwise we'll be charged 20-30 million for some of these blokes.
dont let his son hear you ???

Or he will be arranging illicit meetings at a service station somewhere ;-)

Its like windass as hull offered him to everyone on a free and then said to city, you can have him for 20m

why are people saying unrest in dressing room ? not heard about any in west hams since he has been there, he is a player you love to hate , but if he comes you will all end up loving him he is that type, he needs to be given a chance if he wears the blue shirt

It has to be a panic buy.

Bellamy should wonder what future he will have at City come the summer

so when we buy him and he pops the goals in i hope that your not gonna cheer, or will you say orrrrrrr e's quality shoudda brought im in well soonor.(say it in your narrow minded eveyday talk!)

Its not his ability I'm worried about. There saying the changing room is already on its ass, whats it going to be like when he gets in there???
I don't think he is a great player(wouldn't play for a top 6 club as a starter), but your right the changing room is going to suck big time and don't forget Hamann I'm sure has told them all what to expect.
Why, how would he know?

How much did we pay for jo again ?
Jo was svens parting gift.

Kompany - 6m

He was however from abroad and cost in excess of 18 million,we have also had alot of shit from abroad particulary up front. In this window mate i'd like to see players who are proven premiership material(marquee signings the obvious exception) and hit the ground running we dont have the luxury of bedding in a foreigner. However your fundamental point about over the odds from a primier club is right, but we can afford it

There's a guy called Miguel Veluso at Sport Lisbon who's supposed to be a great defensive midfielder. I'd get him ahead of Parker any day. Everton wanted him but couldn't afford him.

I would have Studge playing regularly ahead of Bellamy. He's a petulant shit, who's injury prone.

Who next Dyer?

Also, our problem hasn't been scoring FFS, it's been keeping clean sheets and stop conceding shitty goals.

Bridge is a good signing. Micah to RB, Zab beside Kompany. Then work the medical team's ass off to get Petrov, Boj, SWP and Jonno fit.

It makes me sick thinking about Danny Mills getting a 5 year contract. FFS Keegan, were you on drugs?

Yes we will pay to much for him,yes most fans do not want him at the club, but we are in deep shit at the moment and if this is the kind of player the club needs to get us out of the deep shit i'am ashamed to admit it,but we are going to have to like it or lump it.This is not an anti-hughes rant-this is not a pro-hughes rant-this is just a common sense rant. Now i know some posters will say then who's fault is it we are in this deep shit in the first place, but we have to face facts and get out of the mess we are in first, and then we can start to dish out the blame wherever it lies.

Must admit I am praying we don’t get him, I can’t stand him as a person to such an extent I don’t want to have to look at him week in week out.

Saw his house in some through the key hole type show, had his own gold throne a place worthy of a big headed prick like him.
the guy on SSN said we will go back with 12m most likely. 7m too much.

£12m too much in my book.

12 mill is to much for someone who will be spending more time in the treatment room than on the pitch, wouldnt mind bidding for lescott and arteta though
