Beckham was and always will be interested in self promotion. He isn't good enough for Europe (as stated in an earlier post) and knew that he'd be made to look shit if he moved to a better league.
The way he talks you'd think he was playing for Galaxy for free.
He's now trying to make himself some sort of ambassador so he has a career after football. Won't be a manager cos it's too risky and people may not like becksy wecksy any more.
