Why was he on the pitch to start with?

I seriously hope that Silva will replace Vieira in this team and not De Jong or Milner.

We are far too defensive in midfield and as a result we have absolutely NO creativity. We can't rely on a flash of brilliance from Johnson or Tevez every game.


On a plus point, Yaya is a fantastic player and should be captain instead of Kolo IMO. He looked like a leader the way he handled the Vieira sending off.

Never a sending off, ref was wank, matterazzi diving champ Italian say no more, result shit a couple of good performances vinny and swp and no Mancini played a big part for me

I think this is the first time I've seen everyone disagree so strongly with the OP. Not the best view of an incident I've ever read to be honest.

Would understand a sending off had it been of the calibre of Nigel Chans, but I don't even think it deserved a yellow card.

I stayed up to watch it, and it was probably one of the worst sending off decisions I have ever seen
He never took his eye of the ball and his arm moved behind him in a natural action of jumping and caught the Inter player
He didnt know the Inter player was there, and it was a pure accident
