Does anyone know what the facts are about the curse that was placed at Maine Road?
Who/why/when it was placed. Was it ever lifted? etc
Was thinking all things City when I remembered about the curse and wondered how things would have turned out had we stayed at our 'once hallowed ground'?

WOW, you need to find a hobby outside football.

Think about the feeling when Kompany lifts the PL trophy instead of old curses mate. :)

If you were real fan you would know the history of the club - its in all the books. Methinks you are from the other side and are trying to give us the jitters

Supposedly a gypsy encampment was turfed off the land to build Maine Road and a gypsy cursed us and said we would never have any luck while we were there.

Funny how when we won everything from 1968-1970 the curse was never mentioned.

Was that not Birmingham I remember all thare players painting the bottom of thare boots red to break the curse it was on football focus in the early 80's !!

i remember something in the MUEN about lifting the curse, guess Mr James would know.

The matter of fact, how this title race with united turns out, i catch myself looking back and missing the days when we were shit. my blood pressure was normal and i could relax between match days, i also approcieted all victories like it was my birthday. Now i feel let down if we win with less then 2 goals :(

im not ready to be a supporter of a successful team i guess.

its was lifted by the Oracle
