That was such a frustrating match!!!

If we took notice of all opposition fans, newspaper reports and quotes from rival managers, we haven't deserved to win a match for the last ten years. Still bitter about the 4-2 are we?
Not at all mate. Just thought Wigan were the better side today. You were outfought in the middle and created very little scoring opportunities.

Adebayor was back to being his usual lazy unintersted self as well. Put on the kind of performance that lead to him being hated and subsequently flogged off.

Obviously you're still interested in Ade's performance even though he no longer plays for you.
Regardless how he performs we have paid a huge amount towards keeping your club solvent, as we have done a number of times for a club not a million miles from here. You should be more concerned about struggling at home to the likes of Birmingham.
Good luck for the future though, I'd much rather watch the football your team plays than the likes of Liverpool.

Mate, seems funny for arsenal fans to say we were outfought. Arsenal are great at home and will hammer the likes of blackburn, birmingham, but away from home you are soft as shit and will get turned over. Like you did at our place... Your fans will be back on 5live soon calling for Wengers head like you were last season.
We weren't soft at your place, we were just not good enough and you outplayed us. Fair play to you. You can't tell me we bottled it though cuz we created our fair share of chances but were caught on the break every time we went forward and Citeh took advantage. We matched you for fight though and gave as good as we got. I feel a lot of oppo fans have been brainwashed by the media and have this idea of us being soft which is a myth. The likes of Vermaelen, Song, Sagna, Rosicky are anything but soft.

Nah you are a soft touch mate. You fell apart when we scored 3 goals in 10 minutes. You have outstanding players though no doubt about that.

Cheers mate. And yes I'm interested in Adebayor's performances since he's ex Arsenal, and I do like him too as a player. It's just his attitude that has led to his downfall.

As for us struggling against Brum, well if winning 3-1 means we've struggled, then I hope we struggle every game!

Good luck to you lot as well. I'd certainly rather see you finish 4th than Liverpool. ;)

Any team would fall apart if they'd just conceded 3 goals in the space of 10 minutes. :)

I do agree with you though, we've been known to bottle games but I've yet to see it this season. Time will tell I guess but against Citeh we were outplayed and lost to the better team on the day. Has nothing to do with being soft or anything.

Seems to me like no two people watched the same match today. I thought we were okay. And Tevez played extremely well. But SWP isn't the player he was, Zab was reckless and Adebayor was presumably carrying an injury throughout. Even Shay couldn't be totally trusted today, though he pulled a save or two out of the bag towards the end. Meanwhile, the referee was his usual fat, giggly wanker self and we should have had a penalty.

Two successive draws. Boring but never mind. We took two more points than Chelski managed from their last two away fixtures and at least we're not Liverpool.

As for Wigan. Twatzoids. Let them eat pies.

Roll on Fulham.

I can understand people having different views on one match, what I dont understand after 40 years of watching City are Blues slagging the team off after the brilliant start we have had this season. Standing up to mi knees in slush watching us get beat in the cup at Shrewsbury seems like a bad dream now, but no matter how good we become I wont forget those day's.

I have to say, we didn't play well today. Not as well as we should have. Wigan deserved a point. Don't think they outplayed us though, but we missed Toure, a lot. And Bellamy instead of Petrov would've been better as well. Disappointed by individual performances. Adebayor needs to regain his confidence, I expect him to do so fully once he scores one.

At least we didn't do the sin of conceding late on. Would've liked to see a bit more initiative on the break late on and I would've had De Jong off for Ireland instead of SWP. Still, I feel like it was one point won, not two lost, as someone else said as well.
