The 5-1 not just for the result but for the laughs at:
1. the rags in the North stand getting punted
2. the swathes of empty spaces in the Platt Lane with 15 mins to go
3. City fans singing "Bye bye Fergie" (pity it didn't happen)
The 10-1 was a great day but a bit surreal in some ways, Huddersfield just fell appart after dominating the first 15 mins. Malcolm McDonald's post match interview was comedy gold though!

The 10-1 was a strange match-18-odd thousand at MR watching a team in a horrible yellow strip get battered-after they hadn been the better team for 1st ten mins or so-strange to see tony adcock get a hatrick too-never really a fan of his...think that was the first time i heard"city are back" chanted,started in the north stand IIRC.
The 5-1 was awesome-my 1st ever derby-the kippax was just incredible,the roar for the 1st goal was loud,but for some reason the roar for the second was even louder,followed by everyone just looking at each other in disbelief and laughing ,falling ten steps down the terrace..before remebering to turn to the scum in the utd section and giving dogs abuse..my fav ever moment watching city-..
think it was £4 on the kippax that day.happy days.

here's 1 for yer who got hudders goal,a penalty given away by no other than john fookin gidman,but on whats best defo,defo the 5-1 no comparison what so ever ive watched the 10-1 back a cpl of times and to be honest it was a fuckin wank game,,lol

Didn't he complain one of our goals was offside?
For what it's worth I was at both and vote for the 5 - 1. No-one gave us a chance, an absolute mismatch on paper yet we played them off the park.
Mind you, being City I wasn't confident of the win until about the 85th minute!

I actually went to a dire nil nil I think against Borough the week before the 10-1 and as I was a student I couldnt afford the Huddersfield game. How gutted was i!
The 5-1 was the ultimate game for me. Standing in the Kippax pissing myself laughing. Oh was fun! Even better teaching the Palace fans to sing our songs ready for the FA cup final and then hearing them singing "5-1 you lost to City 5-1" on the telly!
